Bloody Mary Martini

We teamed up with Rebecca Sherrow of Cerise Chérie to bring you a fresh twist on the ever popular martini, which features our fan-favorite Original Bloody Mary Mix. Perfect for entertaining guests at brunch or a cozy day with breakfast in bed.

Bloody Mary Martini | makes 2 drinks

for the rim:
1 tsp organic chili powder
1/2 tsp fine white sugar
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 lime

for the drink:
1 TBSP honey
1 TBSP water
3 oz. The Real Dill  Original Bloody Mary Mix
4 oz. Cucumber-Lime Vodka

Mix the chili powder, sugar and sea salt together and place it on a small plate.  Slice a long strip of zest from the lime to use as a garnish.  Set aside.  Cut the remaining lime into quarters and rub the sliced edge of one of the quarters around the rims of two martini glasses.  Press the rims of the glasses into the chili powder mixture until evenly coated in the spices.  Set the glasses aside to dry while you make the drink.

Mix the honey and water together in a small bowl and microwave for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture reaches a full boil.  Stir to make sure the honey is completely dissolved and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.  Add the Original Bloody Mary Mix, vodka and the cooled honey syrup.  Shake vigorously until very cold.  Strain the drink into the two glasses or, for a completely smooth martini, double-strain through a fine mesh sieve (this is completely optional).  Twist the lime zest over the glasses, then place on the side of each glass and serve.
